  • From the NY Times:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/18/us/18religion.html?_r=1

    Quote
Then, late last spring, Mr. Ostrow presented school administrators with his wish list for year two. It was to stage “The Laramie Project,” Moises Kaufman’s play about the murder of a gαy college student, Matthew Shepard. And if Mr. Ostrow thought he might be shocking his bosses with the proposal, then he was soon shocked in return.

Not only did Xavier’s president and headmaster approve the plan for “Laramie,” they informed Mr. Ostrow that he was not exactly breaking new ground. Xavier had performed “Laramie” in the 2002-3 school year, standing by the production even amid some eye-rolling and grumbling among faculty members and parents and a smattering of picketing from fundamentalist Christians.

All of these people mentioned in this article are in good standing with the Conciliar Church. The ones who grumbled and rolled their eyes did nothing more than that. The only real opposition came from a bunch of heretics. Millions will read this article, including presumably some bishops and cardinals, and nothing will be done.

Let's say that a Pope who adhered to all of the Church's teachings suddenly appeared. How could he even start to clean up this mess?

    IOW, WWSPXD?

    Any ideas?

St. Jude, who, disregarding the threats of the impious, courageously preached the doctrine of Christ,
    pray for us.

  • Ideas to begin to fix such issues?  Clearly state Church teaching, demand adherance, denounce and discipline deviation, and dole out severe discipline up to and including excommunication for persistent disobedience!

Reject fairies in seminaries, don't shield child molesters, forbid Catholic schools from having classes and clubs that celebrate perversion of the essence of man, woman, and family.  Pay more attention to policing what is being taught in Catholic Churches and schools than puckering up for the next line of heretics' @$$es!!  Renounce school policies that promote passivity and effiminity.

  • Of course they will defend the play because who could be against murder? After all Catholic teaching obviously forbids murder. So that is their Trojan horse. Then they fill the play with propaganda that ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ acts should be accepted because we must accept this individual, inclinations, and behavior because if we don't it leads to intolerance which produces violence.
