Author Topic: A Case for the Conditional Ordination of Rev. Michael Kowalewski  (Read 223 times)

The attached report was written in response to the SSPX for the first time ever assigning a Novus Ordo priest, confirmed to have been not conditionally ordained, to the SSPX chapels in Michigan.

Although the report is directed specifically at the status of the priest in question, Fr. Michael Kowalewski, simply because he is the Novus Ordo priest assigned to Michigan, the argumentation contained in it is applicable to Novus Ordo ordinations in general, and really no part of it is attacking Fr. Kowalewski's ordination in particular. The report is therefore largely relevant to the discussion of Fr. Hesse and Fr. Relyea as well.

It is basically divided into four parts:

1) A positive argument for the conditional ordination of Fr. Kowalewski and other Novus Ordo priests functioning in the SSPX

2) A point-by-point response to Fr. Paul Robinson's YouTube video on why the SSPX doesn't always conditionally ordain (minute markers are given and Fr. Robinson's/Andrew Leatham's actual words are transcribed and bolded)

3) A point-by-poiny response to Fr. John McFarland's YouTube video on why the 1968 Rite of Episcopal Consecration is valid (minute markers are given and Fr. McFarland's/Andrew Leatham's actual words are transcribed and bolded)

4) 3 appendices concerning: 1. the Rite of Consecration of a Maronite Patriarch 2. Novus Ordo Eucharistic Miracles 3. Novus Ordo exorcisms

Attached is the report.

I just shake my head!  Why is there no forming or these men off the street, for that is what they are.  Is there no seminary for forming and new order to a SSPX?  I say no. The Seminary in  VA is a Jew owned facility.

I don't see SSPX serving God.

New Order is restructured. The men, not ordained, knew all about restructuring.  They don't want to serve say 3-4 parishes by themselves.  And restructured parishes are now known as Civil Society Organizations CSO's and CSO's answer to the United Nations.

These men are looking other places.  Maybe Burger King, where you can have it "Your Way!"

Th new-sspx is a joke now.  100% indult, V2-loving, compromisers.  The only difference between them and the FSSP, is a) the sspx controls their property.  b) the sspx still has some valid priests.

The article seems solid, but do you really think that the leadership will be convinced? The problem is that they don't care. They don't care for the priest and they certainly don't care for the faithful. The article might actually convince some people to leave the SSPX and go somewhere else. This would be laudable.
