  • Or what he THINKS the church is:

    Berlin’s “Cardinal” Rainer Maria Woelki:

“The church is not a moral institution that goes around pointing its finger at people,” he said. “The church is a community of seekers and believers, and it would like to help people find happiness in life [sic].”

    NOT a moral institution??
    Seekers of what?
    Believers in what?
    Find happiness in life????

Obviously this man has ceased to have even a rudimentary understand of the Church.

  • What's the problem with that?  Sounds like a good description of the Vatican II Church to me.
For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. (Matthew 24:24)

  • That's unfortunately true.  It is a new religion, not THE Catholic religion.  I pray for the misguided man in the pew who will continue to be led down the garden path to perdition by listening to a man such as this.
