  • Ya it's ok to go to the Masses of SSPX according to Bro. Dimond - just don't give them money....what hypocrisy!

Stay home everyone and save your money! These people have done more damage than most NOVUS ORDO sects....breaking up marriages, families, there are three Baptisms four baptisms...ten baptism...etc.......you can go and receive the Sacraments from heretics and more...nonsense and confusion...

    Bro. Peter (aka Bobby):

"Don’t attend any Society of St. Pius X chapel if the priest believes that sedevacantists are heretics or has made an announcement stating that he doesn’t want sedevacantists or “Feeneyites” at the chapel.  This will probably mean that most SSPX priests are off-limits, but there may be a few who aren’t notorious or imposing about their heresy.  If so, you may be able to attend without supporting the chapel.  Don’t attend any Indult Mass.  Don’t attend the Mass of a Byzantine priest or independent priest who is notorious or imposing about his acceptance of the Vatican II religion.  And never attend the Novus Ordo (the New Mass), of course.

If you find a priest who is validly ordained, who is not notorious or imposing about his heresy – for instance, a Byzantine priest or an independent “traditionalist” priest who believes that Benedict XVI is the Pope – then you could receive the sacraments from him (although you don’t have to) AS LONG AS YOU DON’T SUPPORT HIM FINANCIALLY IN ANY WAY.  DON’T SUPPORT ANY PRIEST OR GROUP WHICH ACCEPTS BENEDICT XVI AS THE POPE OR WHICH BELIEVES IN BAPTISM OF DESIRE; otherwise you will be assisting in the propagation of heresy and funding heretics."

  • Catholics must not fear going to SSPX at this point in time.  While I disagree with their boneheaded acknowledgment with the antipope, they are Catholics and are neither heretics nor schismatics.

  • I go to a SSPX chapel and am a sedevacantist, the priest is well aware of my views and accepts me...my only other choice is to stay home, I tried a Ukranian church and found out they believe in ecuмenism so they are off limits, there are those who argue we shouldn't go to these priests since they are heretics, it's a tough call

  • SSPX and Yourself Believe in Ecuмenism - whenever you Sacrifice your beliefs for the sake a fraudulent Communion (Jesus Christ) you dishonor your Soul and God.

I also hold the SV position and go to the SSPX, but I keep my views to myself unless I am asked.
It is the priest who says prayers for Francis at the mass, not me. I think that is harmless because if he is not the pope then God will see the priest as mistaken when he says "our holy father, pope..."
and nothing will happen. I tend to agree with the Dimonds on a lot of things, and it is their website which is the reason why I am a Catholic, but I take advantage of sacraments from quote "schismatics and heretics" because they are ordained and that is all that is left of the Catholic church.

The SSPX is truly Catholic. Apostates Anonymous (Or the Novus Ordo) is not.

can you expand on this statment? if the sspx make an agreement with Rome then yes I believe they would be off limits, as of date I'm not aare of them believing in ecuмenism, can you give me some evidence?

If I may, I respectfully disagree as Father Dreher today at the SSPX in Mukwanago told us to beware of errors coming out of Rome these days.

To me, that is troubling as well. I would never want my children to hear those things about Rome, it will confuse them and lead them to erroneous ideas about the Church and the papacy.

It might not be as harmful for adults who are well-informed and able to make distinctions--those who can go to mass to receive the sacraments and stay out of the pressure to declare an affiliation.

I think it was just the way it was written in the Dimonds news item.
they had the money for one third of the new seminary already, raised from donations.
Part of that one third is now being put into the construction of the building exterior.

I wonder if Pope Francis believes he the SSPX's "Holy Father".

He does because their status is irregular and he did not rescind the lifting of the excommunications by Pope Benedict XVI.  If directly asked, he would probably consider them wayward sons and hope for them to return.  As for whether he is fond of them, that is a different question.
