  •   Sometimes I think that if society and culture support catholicism, avoiding sin would be far more easy, as a result you will have less need for Sacraments to keep pure and honest.
I know a moslem 40 yr old woman who still thinks that ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity, child molestion and self abuse are "men's issues"! She still doesn't get the meaning of many bad jokes, you may take her for a virgin, but she is twice married (widowed once) and has/had children.
She was totally ignorant till her first marriage at 18.
    on the other hand:
You just need to visit some Trad forums to see how many catholic ladies have great problems with self abuse and other sinful habbits.
So,  which one of the two case are more conductive to purity?:
1-no sacraments. But no bad movies or porn websites, no immodesty, no bars either, seperated education, marriage at 18 (or sooner)

2-weekly Mass, Confessing twice a week, Rosary and Scapular but awful immodesty everywhere, bad and impure media, occasions of sin in schools colleges work places, having friends who teach you about adult things at a young age. Marriage at 30.

Are you saying that Muslims have kept more pure than Catholics?  Richard Ibranyi, a man who thinks he's Elias the prophet, gives a good speech about this, about how America is the Harlot of the Apocalpyse, and about how we go around the world making everyone WORSE.  He says that we have even made Muslims worse than they already were.

There's a famous story about how, when we invaded Iraq, a reporter asked an Iraqi what he hoped for from the American occupation, and he said:  "Democracy, whiskey... And sexy!"  It's funny, but not funny at the same time, because America is the whore that perverts all morals around the world.

Vatican II is infected by the Americanist spirit.  It is infected by the liberalism of the Jєωs and Masons, and no one is ever punished for any transgression -- except for kneeling for the Eucharist!   Many VII Catholics go to church out of duty, but they don't follow any rules or have any clue about the faith.  It just makes them "feel good."  They are not really protected against sin, if they believe in it at all.

We are living in a sex-obsessed generation, and that's why you see what you do on Trad forums.  I believe that's why NFP is the fundamental heresy of our time, because the weakness that the devil is working on today is the flesh.

Prostitution and pornography are bad, but those are obvious evils.  Many of these "Catholic" marriages that I've read about while studying NFP are not holy either.  They're extremely unholy, in my opinion.  It's like all anyone cares about is trying to schedule in more sex, all they think about is if they're having too much sex or not enough sex, and so on.  Their minds are consumed by this topic, more than even their bodies are.  That reminds me of another reason why JPII can't possibly be the Pope -- this man taught the "Theology of the Body."

NFP does put that kind of mentality into people.  Suddenly, sex is not just for making babies anymore.  So men find themselves marrying women for their looks, rather than for their qualities as a potential mother, and women choose men for similar reasons... Divorces skyrocket when the lust wears off, and so on.  How many holy families have you seen recently, couples that have the spirit of self-sacrifice and forbearance?

Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

  • Here is my own list for finally deciding to only attend the TLM.

    1. Lay people distributing Jesus in the Eucharist
    2. Communion in the hand
    3. Standing for Communion instead of kneeling
    4. No offertory prayers
    5. "For all" instead of "For many" in the consecration of the wine
    6. The "sign of peace"
    7. Priest faces the people instead of God
    8. No clear sacrifice in the NO mass, it seems more like a celebration
    9. The heresies you here from the pulpit, esp indifferentism.
    10. The NO appears to be a different religion.

To Jesus thru Mary, for the greater glory of God.

  • In one of my Latin Mass magazines there was an article about an experiment that was done with unconsecrated Hosts and when distributing Communion in the hand, there were visible particles that were on the communicants hands in something like 80% of the time.

So, remember, whenever you enter a NO Church, you are stepping on Our Lord.

The Faith is more than just the Mass.

Yes, the Faith is whatever CM tells us it is. But His Arrogance aside, in the past most layman (always with prominent exceptions) knew the Mass and the beatitudes, and, through simple catechisms,  what sins to avoid. It very well sufficed to get them to Heaven.
