I have read several articles in secular periodicals and websites that say the Vatican and the Lutherans are planning to "celebrate" the 500th anniversary of the first so-called "Reformation Day", 31 October 2017, celebrating the day Martin Luther nailed his "95 Theses" on the church door in Wittenburg.
None of the articles I've read, however, say what this joint "celebration" will entail. Not even a hint.
While I can imagine a lot, I'm wondering if anyone has actually read anything concrete about what the Vatican is planning to "celebrate" the separation of Luther and his followers from the Church.
