New springtime in the Church my...
...foot.
Come on, I want those modernists to answer me! If Vatican II is so swell, and we've made ONE IOTA of progress since 1960, then why is there nothing but dried up vineyards, closures, and destruction in the Church?
It's not a springtime, but a cold, hard winter.
Not a sunrise, but the darkest night.

13 Catholic Schools to close
There will no doubt be a lot of anger and frustration for parents tonight who have children in these schools. As we've been reporting for more than a week the Bishop's announcement would be drastic and would include a long list of school closures. And that was the case this afternoon.
Here is the list of 13 catholic schools to close in Monroe County.
All Saints Catholic Academy in Gates
Catherine Mc Auley School in Greece
Good Shepherd in Henrietta
Holy Trinity in Webster
St. John The Evangelist in Spencerport
St. John of Rochester in Fairport
St. Margaret Mary in Irondequoit
St. Monica's in Rochester
St. Andrews in Rochester
St. Boniface in Rochester
Holy Cross in Rochester
Holy Family in Rochester
Corpus Christi in Rochester
Bishop Clark said it was not an easy decision and says he expects a backlash in some of his flock.
The Bishop did express hope that by reducing their operating costs they will now be able to lower tuition from $4,050 dollars to $2,950 dollars. They will also give a $500 dollar credit to displaced families as an inducement. He hopes that will increase enrollment, which has seen a 45% decline over the past decade. Hit hardest are the schools in the city, which will see six schools close.
Currently there are 24 catholic elementary and middle schools run by the Diocese. To put in perspective, that number will be cut in half.
