  • I came across a post that was talking about Peter Steele from the metal band Type-O Negative turning back to Catholicism. So, on a whim, I decided to just check out some lyrics from their final album before his untimely passing.

Check out those for the song "The Profit of Doom", specifically the third stanza. He also alludes to the (((Red Sea Peds))) being Satanists in the first verse.

    Quote
Of this shape a star of five
Also applies to the one with six sides
Against the sun and against the moon
I warn you that these two combined
    Will bring man's doom
Of ten horns and seven heads
Count your fingers and the continents
On your forehead or in your right hand
This new moral code that the media commands

Believe not in their clever words
Because faith inact(ed) are the loudest heard
All these things I say are true
Understood sadly by a chosen few

    April 2029 the final time
The end my friend is not near
The hour in fact is quite here
    When the moon becomes red
    To guide the living dead
This means God's turned his back on you
    It's a Friday 13th of course
You won't live to see noon

I am a prophet of doom

So now the star has fallen
    Washing away the seas
    The seventh seal's been opened
    It's raining your fears
    Are you paranoid
    The coming asteroid
Has got your name tattooed on it
    This stone's called Apophis

    It brings apocalypse
I am a prophet of doom

    Speak the name of he
    Created thee all to be
    Which should not be spoken
    No laws broken

Now life and love the stars above
Which fall upon the all that worship the beast
    Influences ceased

    My faith is an ember
    Burning ever
    Working towards a greater reward
    Serving my lured

Built this home upon the rock
    Not of the flock
    But coming as a shepherd
    Guarding his herd

    My soul's on fire

April 2029 he "predicts" as the beginning of the End. This correlates with the speculation of some of us here as when Antichrist may come, or, the Chastisement of Fatima will occur (about 100 years after Sr. Lucy's June 1929 vision). Take it as you will, I thought it was fascinating.
"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

  • On the political side of things, the Lateran Treaty was signed by Pope Pius XI in February, 1929. Perhaps that year was the start of the 100 years of Satan's rule envisioned by Pope Leo XIII, prompting the St. Michael prayer?
"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

  • If memory serves, Friday 13 of April 2029 (2+0+2+9=13) is Good Friday. I remember because I remembered seeing something on the local TV news, maybe close to 2 decades ago, about a near earth asteroid predicted in 2029, which I thought of after reading about the comet in some 3 days of darkness prophecies. I think that asteroid is way too small and far away to be of any significance as the comet, but it got me wondering about the 3 days lining up with Holy week, and 100 years since the Fatima message was revealed, and some picture riddle with the date in it, and it all lined up to holy week of April 2029. But, one prophecy of the 3 days of darkness I read recently suggested it may happen in January.
"Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect."
"Seek first the kingdom of Heaven..."
"Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall render an account for it in the day of judgment"

I forgot about the comet being associated with the 3 days of darkness, that makes things even more interesting.

Superficially, Pete here was probably drawing on the speculation surrounding the asteroid "Apophis" mixed with his own Apocalyptic reading; coming up with lyrics that are have some significant, but likely unintentional, eschatological points. I simply found it startling that the first set of lyrics I chose to look at had these specifics. I was more into their earlier albums, so I didn't give this one ("Dead Again") much attention.
