He explicitly said as much when speaking to a prolife group. He told them he was really on their side. Whether this was true or "politics" remains to be seen.
Thank you, Jayne.  Do you have a link for this?

A question that has occurred to me with the recent political debates here is that with the Church, or what is supposed to be the Church, in its present disastrous condition, as a practical matter, why do we expect politicians to be holier than the Pope (or "Pope", if you prefer) ? I know such a question can degenerate into pure relativism, but aren't we asking the lesser (political realm) to be better than the greater (Ecclesial realm)?
And the next question is exactly how do we get everything to change for the good of God.  How do we get woman to respect life, again?

I personally think that laws won't have a moral effect on the situation.  Too many woman are angry and feel unheard and when that is the case they do not think rationally.

Has society ever swung from a moral evil back to a moral good?  If yes, does anyone have examples?

We so desperately need a moral Pope who will excommunicate people for accepting anything that is not Catholic.

It’s pretty easy to be holier than the ( anti-) pope …. there was never resistance in calling for Peℓσѕι or Biden’s excommunication , but JD gets off without a peep from “ pro- life Catholics”. Just a lot of excuses for his scandalous position on the abortion pill . (62% of all abortions are by pill today)
.
Is Vance “allowed” to be pro- abortion because he is part of the Trump dream team ?

When  the Overton window moves left it never moves back

Many people are incapable of moral reasoning. They equate legal with moral. These especially need good laws or they will never understand what is right.

Women are angry because they have been trained to see themselves as victims of men. Listening to women's feelings will not make them rational nor do anything to stop abortion.

The sloppy thinking that allows people to rationalize abortion is not going away any time soon.  You can't fix stupid. Laws against abortion can at least save lives.
