  • Father Edward Beck has a televised Mass which airs every Sunday morning on ABC. He is a public figure on all the major American news channels. These news entities such as ABC, NBC, FOX and CNN all go to him when they have questions concerning Catholicism's view on world events and hot topics. I'd like to know where was the outrage back in 2010 from the Church when Father Beck Defended ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs in the Priesthood on ABC? Here is the video...........

    http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=10388669

Also, in an interview, ABC reporter Chris Cuomo asked Father Beck this question:

"Do we know for sure that Jesus was celibate?"

    Father Beck's response was:

"We do not know for sure. There is no allusion that he was "partnered" with anybody in the Scriptures, but there is no reason to believe that he wasn't, either."

I don't understand why this heretical "priests" is allowed to get away with such filth? How is it that this heretic is allowed to speak on behalf of the Church on the major mainstream news networks?

Not only is Father Beck a heretic, but get a load of this self pro-claimed gαy "priest", Father Bob Pierson, promoting the ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ agenda in this video..........

I used to wonder about these things as well. It becomes much easier to understand once you come to the conclusion and realization that most in the hierarchy are also heretics. Some are more subtle then others but the fact remains that most Novus Ordo bishops, priests and popes are tainted with modernism and have sympathy with all kinds of heterodox beliefs.

History gives us the answer here. At one time 3/4 of the world's bishops denied that Christ was Divine. Now, as then, it will take another St Athanasius the Great, Oecuмentical Council or a truly orthodox pope to condemn, excommunicate and anathematize this brood of vipers. Until then, be faithful.

  • AGREED!

The bigger picture though is that these heretical and evil teachings by these "priests" have infected not only those sheep already so inclined, but masses of otherwise striving-to-be-holy sheep who are accepting them as "gospel."

Few people simply don't know any better! What surprises me, are the elderly who SHOULD know Truth. 'Tis a dark, dark veil that prevents most people from seeing the evil for what it is.

History is a tricky thing.  The faithful remained, by definition, Catholic.  Though I've read various histories that put the apostasy of the hierarchy during the Arian Crisis as low as 75% and as high as 95%, I've never read anything about what percentage of the lay faithful likewise apostated.  Quite likely, the vast majority of the faithful also apostated, thus the famous letter of St. Athanasius lamenting the possibility that the number of faithful might be reduced to a handful.  History also recounts that faithful Catholics refused to enter churches pastored by a Arian priests and held prayer services in cemetaries while, at times, Arians bands would roam around looking for the faithful Catholics and terrorize them, sometimes murdering them and doing other violence to them.  Clearly, these histories recount that most of the Catholic population had likewise apostated.

The only real difference between the Arian Crisis and the Modernist Crisis is that the apostasy has now reached the See of Rome and virtually 100% of the hierarchy, though Pope Liberius may also have fallen, though that is historically in doubt.

We do, indeed, have history to guide us.  Faithful Catholics must do as faithful Catholics did during that early Crisis.  How it will be resolved, however, I do not know.  Unfortunately, today, too many faithful Catholics anathematize one another and give the Conciliar bishops a free pass.

Pretty big detail for the Evangelists to leave out.  And I expect that by saying partnered in stead of married, the good Father is leaving open the possibility that Our Lord was gαy and...well... I think Ill stop there.  He is an idiot, in addition to being a heretic.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

  • No doubt that is a twisted question followed by a more twisted answer.  Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord.....

They will put you out of the ѕуηαgσgυєs: yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doth a service to God.

I read that much of the faithful did not hear as much about it, (no mass media) and it rather reached them more slowly, over the long time it was, which is why it took less time to convince the faithful involved to repent than the Bishops and Clergy.

In our time, heresies also do not reach much of the faithful (mass media ABOUNDS!) because of the lying reporters and propaganda being fed to the faithful with the usual Father Chucklehead-Buddy delivery. After all, Father CH-B is a great guy. He wouldn't steer us wrong.  :barf:

No one is fooled that does not want to be fooled. Anyone sincerely seeking truth will find it by the Grace of God. Some Catholics are on the road to truth and some are walking away from truth, yet both could be in the same position at the time.

No one is lost without knowing it, and no one is deceived without wanting to be. (St. Teresa of Avila)

Once one understands that scarcely anyone is saved, everything will fall into place.

Among adults there are few saved because of the sins of the flesh....With exception of those who die in childhood, most men will be damned. (St. Remigius of Rheims)

Death bed conversions, repentance, there are hardly any: Out of 100,000 sinners who continue in sin until death, scarcely ONE will be saved. (St. Jerome)

Shall we all be saved? Shall we go to heaven? Alas, my children we do not know at all! But I tremble when I see so many souls lost these days. See, they fall into Hell as leaves fall from the trees at the approach of winter. (St. John Vianney)

In numbers yes, but not as a heresy.

The Arian heresy was like a drop of water compared to the cesspool of all heresies, modernism. The difference is as big as one drop versus a small lake (a cesspool). There is no comparison.

  • I don't have a clue how a posting that old came up for me. I never look at the date, I just assume it is fresh.
