:bob-marley: I guess we scared "Pope" Augustine away or got him to show his true colors. From the former "Pope's" website:
:soapbox: For almost two thousand years, Roman Catholicism has been manifesting itself as a competing system with true Biblical Christianity (also known as Calvinism). This website is designed to point out the inherent contradictions in the Romanist system, and raise and discuss questions relevant to the "Vatican II" issue within its system. Vatican II was a revolutionary council from 1962- 1965 that further discredited Romanism. During this council, Romanism migrated from one false theology to an entirely new one based upon modernist and socialist ideals.
The essential idolatry of Romanism has remained the same, but has mutated in an astonishing way. Now, especially in the developed world, its adherents no longer pay honor wood and stone images, attempt to immolate Christ daily in the mass, or merely deny justification by faith alone. Rather, through an integral syncretism, every false religion other than Christianity is now raised on a pedestal. It is almost as if Rome, when confronted with the new wave of political correctness that came to the West in the 1960s (with all of its destruction), immediately attempted to embrace it is a new form of idolatry it could use to continue to deceive souls.
The basic results of this system are the same- spiritually: eternal damnation for its adherents; and materially: mass individual and societal level corruption and poverty. Most of the political and economic systems under Rome remain highly unstable, whereas those in post-Protestant countries continue to do relatively better.(Yeah, like in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark where at least 3/5 of all children are born out of wedlock and you have "stable" socialism.)
This problem will be investigated from a full perspective of theology and political economy.
