  So you're not a Trad.  Never thought you were.  Well, you need to change before it's too late.

Trads didn't start their own churches in the same way that Prots did.  I can't believe you're making this argument.  You're embarrassing.  +W said countless times that Rome is a counter-church.  The Church still exists, it's just "eclipsed" by the fake one, so said Our Lady of LaSalette.

Trads already have.

Oh my, you are truly confused.  Do Trads use the new mass?

Did +W actually say that Rome is a counter-church? Or did he say that the conciliar church is a counter church? You seem to be a little mixed up. +ABL believed, as +W believed that Rome is occupied by a Modernist sect. OCCUPIED. They did not believe that the Catholic Church is completely gone from Rome, as you do. Did you ever read Bp. Tissier's study about this subject? He wrote that the Pope is the Pope of two churches - the Catholic Church, and the conciliar church. Maybe you've never heard of this before now.

Why did you use the early Church as an example of how Catholics should deal with persecution when there are many examples from more recent centuries? Do you have a strong attachment to the early Church, as the Modernists also claim to have?

This is totally irrelevant to the topic.

  It's called a metaphor.  When someone refers to the catacombs, they are referring to operating 'under the radar' which is what Trads do.

I disagree. You are trying, as you have done for awhile now, to re-write history, and to make it look like +ABL, +W, and Bp. Tissier had essentially the same beliefs that you do. I'm reminding you and others here that's just not true.

Just as the Modernists who strive to re-write history to sway opinion in their favor. It isn't honest.

+Tissier was very open and wrote/spoke on the problems of the new rites, many times.  +ABL/+W disagreed with him.  I agree with +Tissier.

Anyone who is honest can read what Fr Scott wrote and say "it's complicated".  It's not a simple "the new rites are valid."  Sorry, it's not.  That's why there's doubt.

I'm sorry you have a guilty conscience for going to the indult.  Change while you still have time.  Using doubtful masses/sacraments is going against canon law, a grave sin.

Ok, so Pax, Stubborn and others have provided some persuasive arguments that the new rites of ordination are highly doubtful.
I therefore ask how does this figure into God's plan for the salvation of souls that there are so many traditionally minded Catholics who
are going to fraudulent priests? These are people who have left the novus ordo, like myself, and now find themselves with the
daunting task of trying to find a valid priest among the already small number of self proclaimed ones.
It's seriously looking like homealoneism is about the only recourse depending upon one's location
Bishop Williamson told us in seminary of a man in Australia who would drive his family 10 hrs. to take them to a valid SSPX Mass.  I am sure the man lived out in the desert lands because that is quite a haul.  Obviously, a man would not be obligated to do that every Sunday, but the point is, some of us are inconvenienced a bit when it comes to preserving our Faith. I am not going to hop on down to Fr. Bob down the street because he is indult and swings a bit of incense.
