    This is the most extreme form of ultramontanism I have ever seen.

    Has any other Pope ever claimed to have this kind of charism?  In more traditional days, didn't Popes just hand down what they had received, the very meaning of the word "tradition" itself?

    This sounds more like what they claim about the "seer, prophet, and revelator" of the Latter-day Saints sect.  Am I right?

  • Right.  The main error/tenant of V2 is the "doctrine changes with the times".  This is why Francis is always yelling at Trads for being "rigid" and not "open to the spirit (of evil)" for change.  No pope owns doctrine, as all Divine Truth came from Christ and was handed down by the Apostles.  "There's nothing new under the sun" also applies to doctrine, because God doesn't change and neither does Truth.  Every doctrine of the New Testament was implicit in the Old Testament, just like every Church doctrine is implicit in either Scripture/Tradition.

    On the other hand, the V2 popes do have "personal doctrines" because that's how the false, conciliar church is setup...to constantly change, update and "improve" to (eventually) arrive at the NWO one-world religion.

  • Be very careful here. The dirty modernists never lose an opportunity to use traditional teachings on the papacy (ultramontanism) to promote their evil agenda. They use reverse psychology in order to keep traditionalists from reaching the correct conclusion that the communist dressed in white is a usurper.
    For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?

  • That’s doctrine?  No, it’s not.  It’s “ideology!” :laugh2::laugh1::fryingpan::jester:

  • Pathetic and hypocritical deception.  These clowns are all about pluralism and freedom of opinion, and not only permit but encourage dissent from 1900+ years of papal teaching.  It's just a cynical attempt to shut down the Traditionalists, and only the Traditionalists.  When Bergoglio thumbs his nose at all previous Magisterium, now he demands unquestioning obedience to his?  Fat chance.

    Even Our Lord God Himself said this (Gospel according to St. John 7: 16-18)
    Quote
    Jesus answered them, and said: My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.  If any man do the will of him; he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.  He that speaketh of himself, seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh the glory of him that sent him, he is true, and there is no injustice in him.

    We all know that the doctrine of Bergoglio is not "of God" but his own, as Fernandez basically admits here.

    Now, to quote me departed father, Bergoglio "is neither Holy nor a Father". :laugh1: (he would say this about JP2 when he was alive)
