I agree. However, I do not think that we should commit the Protestant heresy of private judgment and/or interpretation. Of course, I am not a neo-con Catholic, but a traditional one, and I firmly believe that we all should continue to profess the True Faith and the True Church (even if we cannot agree on absolutely everything), in spite of the real and/or apparent heresies of the present and recent-past Magisterium. After all, "all sins can be forgiven," so as Pope Benedict nears his own death and judgment, perhaps he will reconsider some of the statements which have flowed from his heretical tongue.

This is a horrible statement but perhaps he recanted before he was elected? He apparently said this in 1966.

As for Fr. Peter Khoan Van Tran, I can't find any information on him outside of the Cardinal Siri websites. Where can I learn more about him i.e. ordination?
