I wish that this Latin be translated,

Do I read in Portugal, the dogma of the faith will be always be kept.

This is as far my memory of  Latin will take me.

Oh, sorry about that.

Here is a loose English translation:

Quote
"In Portugal the dogma of the Faith shall always be preserved, but only in those who shall devote themselves unto my Immaculate Heart, particularly by the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary, and [those] who follow all that my Son hath taught [...] Lo, there shall come a time wherein the Church of my Son shall be persecuted in a manner that hath not been seen in previous ages [...] amidst the clerics and bishops at Rome the mystery of iniquity shall come more speedily, for they do not see [or perhaps it could be "for they do not wish to see," or "are unable to see"] the cockle of the enemy in their midst [...]"

The thing about the text is, according to my view, that it does not hearken to the celestial simplicity wherewith the Blessed Mother speaks to the children, which is the same mysterious simplicity that is at once sublime and profound whereby Our Lord's sacred words are recorded in the Holy Gospels.

If the account is true, "something" may have been lost in translation, as it is a Latin translation of the original Portuguese.

This is a good point.  But if it was a secret to be revealed to the Church then it may have been meant to be understood by a Pope rather than small children.

But it is true that we can not put much weight on what we do not know about.

It could be about anything but the slightly educated gues would surmise that it would be about one or more of the following:

1.  The council
2.  The great apostacy
3.  False/bad Popes
4.  The new mass
5.  The drastic decline in morality throughout the world

This is of course only my opinion, but might it be the pope did not release the third secret because he just could not believe that God would allow this to happen to His Church in that way.  Therefore he no doubt could not believe it was a true message from heaven.

"The good continue on their way but without paying attention to the Message ... I cannot give any other details, since it is still a secret ... Only the Holy Father and His Excellency the Bishop of Fatima would be able to know it in accordance to the Will of the Blessed Virgin ... But they haven't willed to know it as they did not want to be influenced."

Pope Pius XII, therefore, without a doubt, preferred to wait for 1960, but he died before then. What a loss for the Church!4

I would also reccomend reading Fatima in Twilight by Mark Fellows.  We can only speculate about the motives of anyone but the humanistc way of thinking is that "We can't realease the message.  It is too much for them to handle."  Or, "I or the next valid Pope will release it in 1960 when it will be more understood and cause the least amount of scandal".

Even now, 50 years later, with all the results before us, the mere possibility of SV  or a false pope approving a false council causes great scandal to some. Even the idea that not all Popes were perfect causes great scandal to some.  Knowing how many lay people react to such things could scare some people from presenting the hard facts.  But our Lady thought we would be ready for it, at least by 1960 and I tend to side with her.

It is said that Fr. Malichi Martin knew of the secret.  He was on the radio with Art Bell.  I listened and the callers asked of the secret and told Fr. Martin of all different bodily harm that would come to us and Fr. Martin said it was worse than that, meaning the secret.  I came to my own opinion that it must be concerning the soul.  And I have the opinion that Sister Lucia said the secret is in the bible, if that be so.  I have the opinion of Chapter 12 of Daniel, saying that the "continual" sacrifice will come to an end.  And it states for how long a period, about 3 and a half years.  We don't know just how bad things can be without the True Precious Blood.  We will know.  My great-great uncle was a priest of the Precious Blood.  It was their mission to bring the wonderful news of the saving Precious Blood.  When Pope John XXIII came on, feast days were removed and what is said, is that the lst feast removed was the feast of the Precious Blood, July 1.  I do believe we need to educate ourselves more on the Powers of the Precious Blood.  Being traditional, I still see those around me not taking it as serious as they should.  We need more sermons on the powers of the Precious Blood!!
