For the first time in history, Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran will be heard at the Vatican on Sunday, in a move by Pope Francis to usher in peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

Francis issued the invitation to Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas during his visit last week to Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian Authority.

As someone commented on facebook...It's a good opportunity for Muslims to check out the surroundings (case the place) for a future time when it will be renovated to resemble Hagia Sophia.

It has not been said here, that in the East, muslims are converting to catholicism (New Order)? Maybe some one else here has seen or heard of this on the news; not in the USA news. I was told by a friend of mine, who left the East and has family still there and some of her family members murdered by Islam, that these things are taking place with VIPs.

I don't believe that there will be a true conversion, but it may give an impression. There is talk, that the americans are protecting those who claim to be Christian, but I wonder if those people are being falsely led.

But this so-called pope who prays to Mohamend (sp) is definitely not Catholic. He talks with a forked tongue on one lung!

The worst part about sedevacantism is all those prayers that are not being offered up for the Holy Father. Our Lady of Fatima told the children that the Holy Father will have much to suffer. Maybe she was talking about all the snide backbiting that would happen regarding missing body parts, instead of prayers being made for graces that he needs.

It was supposed to be a 3-part service with Moslem prayers, Jєωιѕн prayers and Catholic prayers. Not at the same time, but in turn. Just like at Assis I, II and III, they're saying, "We are not praying together. We are staying together while we pray separately."

It's hard to imagine that Moslems are going to be okay with this. Some of them are probably getting pretty hot under the collar -- or should I say bee-hive?

I am not the one who has become soft. Staying in your group is not Catholic. Had sspx reached out to novous ordo, it might have put an end to modernism and communism in the church. St Boniface don't abandon the ship ( The Church )

These novous ordo priests remain silent when fellow priests are raping and molesting children.
And turn around are publically hostile towards traditional Catholics.

I agree that I hate when we sedevacantists take the low road. However, I admit that I find it hard to pray for him. I said it elsewhere and got banned for it but I see him as an enemy of God.

Makes a lot of sense during the Mass to pray that our popes become a Catholic.

If you all feel so strong about that one, you should organize a novena of prayers, holy hours once a week before the Blessed Sacrament that your pope converts to the Catholic religion.

We sede pray during Mass for the wants of the Catholic Church, wants like a Catholic pope, no missing parts.
