I got an e-mail from Google just now --

Notice of European data protection removal from Google Search

To: Webmaster of http://www.cathinfo.com/,

Due to a request under data protection law in Europe, Google can no longer show one or more pages from your site in Google Search results. This only affects responses to some search queries for names or other personal identifiers that might appear on your pages. Only results on European versions of Google are affected. No action is required from you.
What we’d like you to know:

These pages haven’t been blocked entirely from our search results

They’ve only been blocked on certain searches for names on European versions of Google Search. These pages will continue to appear for other searches.

We aren’t disclosing which queries have been affected.

In many cases, affected queries don’t relate to the name of any person mentioned prominently on the page.

For example, the name might only appear in a comment section.

You can notify us of concerns

If you have additional information regarding the content of a page that you believe warrants a reversal, you can notify Google. Please note that while we read all requests, we do not always respond. Only the registered siteowner can access this form.

Search removal request under data protection law in Europe

Background

A recent ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union (C-131/12, 13 May 2014) found that certain people can ask search engines to remove specific results for queries that include their name, where the interests in those results appearing are outweighed by the person’s privacy rights.

When you make such a request, we will balance the privacy rights of the individual with the public’s interest to know and the right to distribute information. When evaluating your request, we will look at whether the results include outdated information about you, as well as whether there’s a public interest in the information — for example, we may decline to remove certain information about financial scams, professional malpractice, criminal convictions, or public conduct of government officials.

You will need a digital copy of a form of identification to complete this form. If you are submitting this request on behalf of someone else, you will need to supply identification for them. Fields marked with an asterisk * must be completed for your request to be submitted.

I wonder WHO it was that didn't like a CathInfo thread to come up in Google results when their name is searched for. Perhaps someone against the Resistance? Maybe someone associated with SSPX headquarters?

There's also the possibility that it's someone who isn't connected to CI, the Resistance, or even Catholicism, but was discussed on CI (e.g., in a news story), came across CI in a Google search, and wanted the search result removed.

No, I tried googling him and Cathinfo, and got some CI threads.

This is without question, a tactic used worldwide by Jєωs to shut down things which they do not want discussed or disseminated. Google does this a lot to satisfy the elders of their family.

It might be possible that it is Krah, considering that he has employed their tactics a number of times in the past and of course they do not want the reunification parade disrupted, but I think this is beyond the creativity and abilities of the Kentucky group.

Could it be something in the library section?

I've done a ton of name searches in www.google.fr and www.google.co.uk, and everything comes up with results. Perhaps whatever they're going to do hasn't taken effect yet.

There is going to be a day when we won't be able to go on certain Catholic sites.
The internet is starting to control things already. Certain sites are being spied on. It's all about control. Also, access to information will be restricted. Start saving books.
