It would be for a computer, the owner of which insists on using IE despite my many pleas that Firefox be used instead.

I used AVG for a while on my own laptop about 2 or 3 years ago but I removed it because they kept sending me ads for upgrading to a paid subscription.  I don't think my father would like that.  It's his computer I'm trying to liberate from Norton.

How good is AVG, i use Norton Internet Security with 360 and
it works and does the job. I heard about other ones that are
quite well but expensive.  Thanks for the information btw.
