I've been using this for 6 years. I wouldn't use anything else.
With certain items (motherboards, UPS devices), my philosophy is: If you can't afford a decent one, then keep saving up your money and come back when you can afford a decent one. Buying crap is just throwing your money away.
APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA UPS Battery Backup & Surge Protector (BR1500G)
https://www.amazon.com/APC-Back-UPS-Battery-Protector-BR1500G/dp/B003Y24DEU/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1504882563&sr=1-2&keywords=BR1500G
If you need lots of battery backup (lots of devices, or more than an hour or so) get this extended battery pack to connect to the one above!
APC External Battery Backup Pack for Model BR1500G

Now if you're cheap, you should still stick with APC so it's not crap, but there are other options:

And in 4 years when your UPS battery dies, you can spend $56 and make your UPS as good as new again. True story -- I speak from experience on this.

Amen to that.
Did your PSU explode on you again?

No, I'm tasked with finding a UPS at work, and they use Amazon for everything. So I'm using CathInfo to generate some nice affiliate ID-embedded links for me.
