Test my new Catholic AI
« on: Yesterday at 09:37:43 PM »
The Catholic AI is found at:

https://www.maktos.com

I have a number of Catholic books loaded into it right now, plus some CathInfo content:
* contents of the SSPX Resistance Subforum
* all video transcriptions so far
* every post made by user "Matthew"

I am looking for suggestions on what Catholic books I should add. They can be in PDF, EPUB, or TXT format so far. If other formats are needed, that can be arranged.
(If you sent me stuff already, I still have it and will probably use it -- assuming it's a suitable format, etc.)

NOTE: Files must be TEXT inside, as in "you can highlight various text and copy it". Image-based PDFs that are basically PDFs filled with photos will NOT work. I do not have OCR (optical character recognition) set up yet.

But it's not just books -- any small article, text file, etc. could be added as well. A text file filled with various "truths" about any topic would work. Think "101 reasons to avoid the Novus Ordo" and such.
But again, photos or scans won't work. They have to be in text format, for my system to be able to use them. Maybe later I can set up an OCR to process image-based books into text.

I need examples of how Fr. Laisney (SSPX) is modernist and not very traditional.

Fr. Laisney's modernist tendencies are evident in several ways. First, his interpretation of the dogma "Outside the Church There Is No Salvation" appears to dilute its absolute nature, suggesting that salvation might be possible outside the Church under certain conditions. This contradicts traditional Catholic teaching, which holds the Church as the sole path to salvation.

Second, his commentary on Genesis and the flood narrative dismisses the literal meaning of the text, arguing that the flood "covered the whole heaven" metaphorically rather than literally. This approach prioritizes allegorical interpretation over scriptural fidelity, a hallmark of modernist hermeneutics.

Third, his endorsement of Fr. Paul Robinson's work, which promotes liturgical and doctrinal shifts aligned with Vatican II reforms, directly contradicts the SSPX's traditionalist stance. Robinson's modernist leanings—such as advocating for relaxed liturgical practices—reflect a departure from pre-Vatican II orthodoxy, which Laisney's support implicitly endorses.

Finally, Laisney's willingness to engage with secular philosophical frameworks and downplay the Magisterium's authority in theological debates further marks him as modernist. His writings often blend contemporary thought with traditional teachings, creating a synthesis that weakens the Church's doctrinal boundaries.
