So sorry to hear you’re out of work again. That seems to be the way it goes these days. All business is concerned with cheap labor, loyalty, high quality work, pride in product or results, good moral character, solid experience are out the window. They want workers like disposable diapers, cheap, quick on and off, absorb lots of 💩, and easily disposable. 
In the meantime have you any sidelines, what about the rest of your family? I’ve done all sorts of side jobs like tutoring, house cleaning, laundromat worker, attendant at ladies’ changing room in a store, driving for Amish and elderly, people needing medical procedures, babysitting, kitchen assistant, summer camp trail maintenance, live-in summer caretaker at historical house, gave tours four days per week, take in mending, worked at McDonalds, (hated it), bakery assistant, cleaned banks and doctor’s offices, proofread college papers, made and sold crafts, assisted to paint three story Victorian house, pet, plant, and house sitting, mowing lawns, shelving books at library, cashier at Woolworth’s, picked crops—-blueberries, strawberries, peaches, beans, did handwritten customized invitation, place cards, corporate greeting cards (calligraphy)…I realize a lot of these jobs no longer exist, but they’re just some ideas to keep food on the table. 

My cousin’s daughter got a temporary job in IT on ZipRecruiter. It’s with a contractor involved with an addition to a hospital. The pay is far short of a living wage but it’s better than nothing.  She had to move back home with my cousin when her job vanished in the c-sickness. She’s had nothing but low-pay, temporary, and part-time jobs since 2021. She’s 32, never married, no kids, and no more shack-up boyfriend. (One good result.) Her mother’s shack-up departed after he “cheated” in 2018. She’s 70 and still works because her ex took off in 2010 and cleaned her out. She does dog-grooming, a skill she learned in a high school vocational program. Both have now totally useless four-year college degrees in liberal arts. It was supposed to make you more well-rounded, therefore more attractive to prospective employers!  Employers don’t care one iota about such nonsense. Can you produce something or not? Are you quick about it and cost very little? 

The tech market is disastrous right now—my sister is about to enter it, and I feel you. But those who seek shall find. God provides.
