  • I am just curious.

What do you think Starlink is?

  • My neighbor has it for the past month. The Star Link app tells you how many degrees it is pointing to the satellite, and the user just has to go outside and make finetuning in realtime...So I think there is something in the stratosphere? that is sending lots  super fast data.

  • I know little about it, but it makes sense that you have to aim it at active satellite paths. What I have learned about starlink is that it is a grid of little antennae that transmit with a phase shift across the surface of the... dish? such that it can aim the peaks of the interference pattern at the moving satellite.

  • We had it for Internet. You set up an antenna yourself. It's good for people who live rural or remote to get high-speed internet.

:cowboy:  Accept it is not real.  It is just a holograph.  You actually have cables underground that are giving you your signal.  Someone secretly, in the middle of the night, without you knowing it, found away to get you the cables, and then told you you had Starlink. (I am just using my common sense based on Ladislaus and Pax's logic.) :cowboy:
