Intentional or not, their posts clearly reveal these objectives in action.

The items in bold have supporting evidence; the others are speculative but, in my view, likely true.

1.To flood the forum with content to “memory hole” or bury genuine discussions.
2. To sow discord and division among forum members.
3. To merge traditionalist and conciliar viewpoints subtly, diluting traditional positions.
4. To discredit traditionalist voices by provoking exaggerated or extreme responses.
5. To monitor and gather intelligence on traditionalist arguments and strategies.
6. To discourage users by creating an atmosphere of frustration and distrust.
7. To introduce gradual doctrinal errors under the guise of “reasonable” debate.
8. To shift focus away from central issues by constantly steering discussions toward trivial matters.
9. To normalize modernist or secular ideologies under a veneer of “reasonable Catholicism.”
10. To demoralize traditional Catholics by creating doubt and confusion around traditional teachings and leaders.
11. To shift accountability away from the Jєωs and redirect criticism elsewhere.
12. To promote secular politics as the primary solution, downplaying or dismissing the need for a Catholic state.

I meant to respond to this earlier, but just want to add that I agree with others here that the above list is very good. A good summary of their goals.

Regarding MarkM

…Anyway, with his hysterical over-reaction to the meme, the pattern fell into place:
manic posting
grandiose self-importance
paranoid over-reaction
apparent sleeplessness
verbosity as a "pressured speech" equivalent
hysterical style

I think MarkM has a specific psychiatric problem, a manic episode of bipolar disorder.

Just as I don't push old ladies out of wheelchairs, now that I see the pattern, I'm not going to argue with him. He is malfunctioning.

Obviously he is unlikely to get medical or spiritual help on my recommendation.

Typically bipolars treasure the "high" of their manic phase (until they physically collapse from exhaustion), so refuse to see it for the pathology it is. They will typically reject the medical diagnosis and refuse (or discontinue) helpful medications. Usually they "rabbit" but, if they seek medical help at all, they go "doctor shopping" until they find a doctor who misses (or ignores) the diagnosis.… or until their impulsive behavior draws the attention of the police and forced into treatment.

The moral problem for me at this point is whether or not josh987654321 is just another of MarkM's self-admitted multiple forum accounts. I have not decided yet if josh987654321 deserves a "pass" due to mental illness.

I’ve always thought Matthew should have instituted an Inquisition & Burning at the Stake ritual on Cathinfo.
