  • My clients have developed a scuмbag detector that can calculate from all manner of sources on the Internet how honest and reliable you are likely to be when you owe money on an item bought on hock or borrow money from a lender.

It's pretty amazing technology.   The detection rate is so accurate that it cut down delinquent payments at one lender by 80 percent within 3 months of roll out.  That is a massive saving of millions of dollars already, and given that it is a learning algorithm it is only going to get better.

My advice, be careful whom you associate with and what you say to them on the Internet, especially on social networks.  This technology is getting more and more powerful.

If you are young and will need to borrow money to buy a house or a car in the future then careful what you post.  It may be used in evidence against you.

See these complaints about a Canadian lender who rents furniture, computers, TVs and other household items to people.

My advise, use a pseudonym for your "name", and keep speaking your mind. Fear is a liar.

That won't work.  They've though of that already in version 1.0

The algorithm only works insofar that it data-mines and predicts behavior based on what is being communicated over the internet, but if a person has always used a pseudonym for his profile, then there is no way to link the communication, thus predictions, to the actual person. Unless, of course, the technocratic grid collaborates sector contained therein to identify a person. Eg. the company implementing the algorithm (which Fb probably does, too, anyway) works with Fb or different social net site, and they work with the internet provider to identify the IP address. This probably happens more often than people realize. And the grand daddy of them all is NSA. But a company that specializes solely on algorithms cannot identify a person if he uses a pseudonym.

  • You are correct that is you always used a false iD on line it could only track you to that.

But that is impossible.  For some tasks you have to use you real iD.
