RT - anyone a fan?
« on: December 20, 2021, 02:23:59 PM »
(This is the closest forum this fits into.)

https://www.rt.com/

It's available on Roku (which is how I get it) and on some cable systems.

Anyone here a fan?  Love it?  Hate it?  Somewhere in between?

I'm of mixed feelings myself.  Russian government-funded, yet vaguely conservative and challenging of the MSM point of view.

I would not call myself a fan necessarily, but I stumbled on them at the start of Covid, yadah, yadah. They were giving news stories about the US that I wasn't hearing anywhere else (things like the Jan.6 stuff and a few other things). It peeked my interest a bit, but I haven't checked in a couple of months or so.

Seems to me I found some obscure link off a pro-Trump or pro-freedom rally site. I don't recall. I think it was their station that showed the gorgeous, traditional New Year's Eve Ball in Belarus last year. Beautiful! I would love to go to a ball like that with their waltzing. They refused to lockdown their country.

Speaking of foreign countries though, India was putting out some really eye-opening stories on their local TV stations about Gates, his involvement there, the v-juice, etc. So I started going to the Indian TV sites to get news about what was going on around the world. :laugh1:

I'll browse RT on occasion just to get a different angle on the MSM narrative, but, overall, they're still as compromised as any other major news source.

I have seen it before.
