Resistance Discord server
« on: September 25, 2020, 05:44:02 PM »
I have seen many servers on Discord that claim to be Catholic.
But I could not find a single one that is dedicated to the Resistance.

This is why I wanted to ask, if anyone is interested in such a server.

I’d be interested.

I may or may not be interested depending on how broad the "target audience" is.  If its just for Resistance ppl than I wouldn't qualify.  If its also for sympathetic/learning people I'd be interested in it.  But I wouldn't want to intrude.

Forgive me, but what is a discord server? I am not a young man. What would it offer that is not available on Cathinfo?

Discord is a social media platform that, from my knowledge, is more focused on voice chatting (it was originally made for gamers) than on communicating through written posts. That being said, communicating through written posts is possible, but it is less geared towards that. Many kinds of bots can be included in a server in order to facilitate different things and provide certain functions.

For example, there is a translation bot. However, that one and some of the others require a premium account in order to install them on a server.

It could also serve as a means to help more young people discover the Faith.
