While trying to download Zorin according to these instructions
http://zorin-os.com/installguide.html
I got this message as I tried to burn the image to a DVD: 'Please replace the disc with a supported CD or DVD.'
A google search comes up with various suggestions for downloading things I'm not familiar with. What should I do?
-
Did you use ImgBurn as suggested?

What operating system are you using to burn this DVD?

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to dowload all 7 mirrors, or just one. I'm using Linux Debian, which has Brasero.

If you downloaded all 7 mirrors it would certainly be vanity. ;) You only need to download from one of the mirrors. I would select there own (the last one if I recall).
I have not used debian. If the above didn't work then give this a shot.

Heehee!
OK, I downloaded the last mirror and I see it in my downloads but I can't figure out how to install it from there. I don't know how to make a screenshot either ...

I might have to take some courses before I can go on, since this link seems to be indecipherable to me.

Could any friend make it for you, or do you have any other Windows computers in the house?
This command line looks easier than the site I posted before: https://wiki.debian.org/BurnCd
If no one chimes in, and you still can't get it, I could connect to you over the net and give it a shot. You would need: http://www.teamviewer.com/hi/download/linux.aspx

The problem is I still haven't figured out how to install and run downloads. Even redshift, which seems to be installed, since I see it in my accessories, needs the command line entered into a terminal every time I turn on my computer. When I click on it in accessories, or Brasero for that matter, nothing happens.
No techsavvy friends live nearby, and there's only this computer in my apartment.

And thank you for your offer of assistance, SenzaDubbio. :pc:
I will have a go at this: http://www.open-of-course.org/courses/mod/resource/view.php?id=305

Soulguard could fix it, but that would be just an excuse to come over to parlez avec maria.
LOL

Dont mind me Maria. Everyone knows I am crazy by now, and sometimes post unusual things because I think people might find them interesting or funny. We must all strengthen each others morale in this world, so we will love the church and serve God all the more.
