YouTube does have an AI summarize feature in the "more" section of the description box. Transcripts, too.
According to ChatGPT, WhisperX gives you somewhat superior text/captions, compared to Youtube's auto-captions.
And I can search through my transcripts with text search (on CathInfo). That's the important part.
Youtube serves up whatever it wants to when you search Google or Youtube. You're not going to get a 100% faithful text results search like 1997. That just doesn't happen anymore.
You can't search Youtube for "What episode did he talk about the Muppets?" If you just type "muppets" in the search box, you're NOT going to get what you're after.
But you could search CathInfo for my auto-transcribe user, maybe for a date range, and search for that term. It would come right up.
