    • MO is that if Mark is banned, pooch should be also. If pooch is allowed to stay then Mark should be here as well.  :popcorn:

    Poche is no fool- he knows he won this round, but I hope you seriously consider bringing Mark79 back because Poche shouldn't rest so easy.
    Poche has been winning rounds since forever.

    • Poche is becoming increasingly annoying, defending new-rome at every turn, and i've cut down my time on this site because of it.  I don't have time to deal with lies and debate people who aren't catholic.  I get that everywhere else in life.  Cathinfo used to be a sanctuary of sorts.

    I don't agree with Mark's tactics but what else can be done?  I see this forum as a Trad-centric one.  If a member shows himself anti-Trad, they should be deleted.  I don't believe in coercing or threatening Matthew in any way; that was Marks' error.  But I do ask that Matthew ban Poche.

    • I've ignored poche for years, but I tend to agree that he's no longer harmless.  Mark79 was correct that poche has been consciously lying.  I was in fact the one who called him out for slandering St. Pius X by likening Bergoglio's views to those of St. Pius X ... when I cited the entire statement made by St. Pius X to Herzl.  After Bergoglio's participation in Jєωιѕн "dialogue" (and in their religious services), poche had the audacity to say that St. Pius X also dialogued with Jєωs, citing the audience with Herzl.  But in that audience, St. Pius X told Herzl to his face that the Jєωs have rejected Christ and that the Holy See could not therefore support their having a state.  Could you imagine Bergoglio rebuking the Jєωs for rejecting Christ?

    • I have been away for many hours on Sunday doing Sunday/family things.

    Thank you all for your thoughtful comments and observations. I do appreciate it, and will take your advice under prayerful consideration. I am in contact with Mark79 and I'll let you know how it goes.

    I'd like to resolve this in the best manner possible. By the way, I never implied Mark79's ban was anything other than temporary.

    Just remember the devil likes to see God's warriors divided. They get a lot less good done that way. United we stand, divided we fall. Remember the old bundle of sticks analogy. Breaking sticks individually is easy. Breaking 10 or 20 at once, not so easy. The devil stokes the emotions of cholerics ("roosters") especially so they can't get along with each other, even if individually they're doing God's work. I always sigh and think it a shame when "alpha", choleric Trad roosters can't get along with each other.

    P.S. It's always easy to get along with someone (including Poche) when you don't know much about them -- i.e., don't read their posts closely. I have the hardest time with Sedes for example when I get personally involved in various threads and arguments. I wasn't aware of any of Poche's comments regarding St. Pius X (quoted by Ladislaus in the post above this one) for example.
