Title: mp3 player?
Post by: jvk on November 08, 2020, 06:30:09 AM
I'd like to download the MP3 versions of Bp Williamson's doctrinal conferences for my husband's Christmas gift.

My question:

What is a good MP3 player to use?  Or is there some other new technology out there by now?!  I'm completely clueless here....So this is what I'd like:

something easy to use/figure out

something you can listen to without ear plugs (so the whole family can hear it)

Is there a version you plug into a stereo?  We have one for the van, but I've never figured out how to use it; would something like that be switchable between the van and an in-home stereo?

We don't have a very functional radio/CD player so if I did go that route, I guess I'd have to buy a simple one.

Thanks in advance.

Download the mp3's to a cell phone (if you have one) and play/listen directly from there.

I downloaded and use VLC  (https://www.videolan.org/vlc/)on my computer, so far it always works for whatever format, .wav, .mp3, .mp4 etc., and for my cell phone, the app I use is Audify Music Player I downloaded to my phone from the app store on my phone - same story, it works with everything and both are free.

I only listen to sermons/talks/conferences, mostly on my phone but sometimes on my computer and am very happy with both.
