Well they do claim that AI can be very useful for those doing research. I think you proved the point! 
I have mentioned previously that I have tested a dozen AIs against political and medical narratives. Though still defective I have found Grok.com to be the AI most open to bypassing the "stable constraint geometry."
As the most recent example, I asked Grok to evaluate the risk/benefit ratio of "statins" (the cholesterol drugs).
In the fist pass I simply posed the question. Grok's first pass answer was a virtual Big Pharma advertisement, a glowing review of the lives saved and the absence of significant side effects from statins.
In the second pass I told Grok to answer the sane question, but to ignore all studies and sources funded by the pharmaceutical industry and .gov, to rely only upon independent research. The second pass answer was what I already knew: billions of dollars in profit for a class of drugs that costs more lives than it saves, a class of drug that are mitochondrial ("cellular energy factories") toxins expecially upon cardiac and neural mitochondria.
Anyone who poses a controversial question to any AI should instruct the AI to ignore all biased sources.
