Sheesh, every human endeavor is fraught with obstacles, drawbacks, disappointments. It would take some time to establish yourself, get your footing in any field. Untilthen it might provide a good supplement to one's income.
This is addressed to some of our members who are being squeezed out of their particular technical field. May I suggest getting a realtor's license. It's not very expensive, difficult orlengthy. I have some relatives who are very average in intelligence...and in every other way, whomake a very comfortable living in real estate. Ironically selling residential properties is probably the easiest in the entire spectrum of sales. Houses more or less sell themselves. A family likes the property and can get financed or theydon't. It doesn't take any slick sales talk or arm twisting. You can work remotely most of the timeexcept for hosting open houses. Even then people just wander around and ask basic questions becauseall the specs of the house are printed out or available online. The realtor's commission is typically 5% of the sale price and since the average home in many parts of thecountry are $300,000. That's $15000 for very little work. It's not unreasonable to sell a house once a month orevery two months. Something to consider.
Middle man jobs like real estate agents will eventually be phased out due to tokenization and automation. Just something to keep in mind.https://xcancel.com/Investanswers/status/2029380355028074609
