I seriously wonder if Vox has lost the Faith.

Is one of the posters at fisheaters a transɛҳuąƖ?

This obsession with the sins or supposed sins of other people is an obstacle to your growth in holiness. Many times when we are obsessed with the sins of others we don't see our own sins. Also as the Fathers of the Desert taught, "He who said 'thou shalt not fornicate' also said 'Thou shalt not judge.'"
There wasanother story,
One day the priest ordered a certain sinner to depart from the church. The Abba Bessarion also got up to leave. "I too ama sinner." he said

"Judge not according to the appearance: but judge just judgment." (John 7:24)

"It is a work of charity to shout: "Here is the wolf!" when it enters the flock or anywhere else." Saint Francis de Sales

That is true. But too much shouting will make you go hoarse. It is not that this person is not doing something wrong. But this obsession is not good for your soul. According to the fathers of the Desert, St Theresa de Avila, and St John of the Cross this obsession is an obstacle to your own spiritual growth. It could be that this misguided person has some hidden virtues that you are not able to see but are knwon to God alone while we who know better are ignoring our own vices talking obsesivly about this person. It could be that this person you all are talking about will get a higher place in heaven while we will be lucky to get into the lower place in Purgatory.

Jayne, with all due respect, please either refrain from contaminating Cathinfo with your ridiculous faux outrage, or just leave.

Is it not enough that you assisted in destroying a forum, aiding an abetting (apparently) in a man's mental delusions, and dragged through the mud the names of actual Catholic posters who are pilgrims in the Faith?

It is not creepy nor is it anything but a very cursory test to search an image.  This sort of thing is SOP for any potential new hire.  It takes about 2 seconds to scan a page of results (5 minutes to run a thorough check.)  And apparently the searcher found amazingly vile, highly unnatural porn pouring out of the seems since this 'Impy' character enjoys posting such things in the context of soliciting.

So please, drop the 'Oh my I'm shocked' act.

And even if the poster who tracked this down became obsessed like Khan chasing Kirk and used some surveillance... Are you telling me that is worse than a man pridefully announcing to the world of a vile, horrific sin (transgenderism) while claiming to be a traditional Catholic?

The US government just declared, in so many words, that authentic Catholics are enemies of the State.  Not entirely surprising.  Also, we are inches away from Syria getting pounded into submission by the CIA/NSA/Dept of State via Sunni terrorists.  Directed by the militant ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖist US government-corporate regime.

I thought the Impy thing was a fake.  Maybe there really is such a degenerate.  I still doubt it because didn't he claim to live in NJ?  I know the Latin Mass communities from Pittsburgh to Boston very well and I know all of NJ's TLM communities.  He claimed to sing in the schola so either I got his location wrong, or he is way lying.

But this doesn't even matter because a torrent of people, including you Jayne, endorsed the perceived notion of transɛҳuąƖism.  To the extent that you make excuses, try to change the topic, avoid confronting the soul of the matter, you are objectively guilty, to some degree, of corrupting minds.

Nothing goes unpaid and all things are accounted for before God.  Consider my words humble, charitable but firm calls to come back to the spirit and sense of the Faith out of sincerely fraternal concern.

-A convert.

Well said, King.

I agree with every word you wrote, except the part of where you said to Jayne "with all due respect".

She is a creep who deserves no respect. And she is a real pot stirrer.

I remember her once referring to herself as a Knight for her Lady. Her Lady being Vox. Not a Handmaiden, or Lady in Waiting, but a Knight! ... When I read that, I was convinced MODERATED.

MODERATED.

That place is the stuff of the Frankfurt School. I can smell it a mile away.

I'm convinced that it is a Psychological Operation.

Fool me once, shame on them. Fool me twice, shame on me.

It comes down to it.

The whole reason why her actions are important.  I wonder if this has been stated yet.  Here it is:

As to what I, myself, condone, I don't see why that should matter to anyone, really; I'm just a person on the web, like everyone else -- no one's guru, no one's priest, in possession of no authority in the Church whatsoever.

Vox, you're the captain of this ship.  You're in charge of what used to be one of the biggest most popular Traditional Catholic websites on the internet.  People felt like they found a treasure when they discovered this place.

You direct it.  Your leadership is reflected when you either enforce rules, break them, or ignore them.  Your personality is seen in this forum by the way you run it.

It does matter.  What you condone matters.  You're not just a person on the web.  You're an important person.  Right now, your actions will determine the thoughts and perhaps even spiritual direction of at least a hundred people.  The magnifying glass is on you and your Fisheaters.  You are not anonymous.  You are not a civilian.  You are not powerless.  How you conduct yourself as the manager of this institution matters.

You may not have spiritual authority, but you do have temporal authority--of this discussion forum.  This collection of thinkers and conversationalists.  And what you do here will not only affect the members of Fisheaters who've stuck around for whatever reason, but those actions will also affect people who participate on other forums, as well as people who are thinking about joining forums.

The only question for you at this moment...at this apex of the moment...is...what do you want Fisheaters to be?

Is it still a Traditional Catholic forum?
