You're right -- the full weight of Fisheaters infamy won't take effect for a couple of days, after Vox finds out about Impy's posts on the ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ dating fora.

If a few days pass and nothing changes, then Vox will truly bring Fisheaters to the next level down.

CathInfo isn't a dead forum that no one visits anymore. Just look at the online stats sometime! It gets plenty of attention, and I made sure this revelation got its own thread, so everyone could see it. Word will get back to Fisheaters, trust me. Plenty of their members moonlight and lurk here, though many of them don't have accounts.

It will take a lot of courage for her to do something about it. I hope she has it in her.

The difficulty will be that once people get the modern interpretation of "don't judge" into their heads, they become more and more trained to accept any behavior without reaction. The line between praying and loving sinners for God's sake yet avoiding familiarity with the more hardened of them in order to preserve your Faith and morals as well as that of anyone in your care, becomes so blurred as to eventually be non-existent.

In an effort to be seen as not "judging" him, it's a real possibility that nothing will be done, even though his active and evil influence is crystal clear to anyone with eyes to see.

I mean, if a person can't make the difference between being a sinner but conforming your life to the Faith and the Church or being a sinner and working to conform the Faith and the Church to your sin AND influencing others to do so as well...it's just kind of a lost cause.

There's a point of consideration here, too. The internet, with rare exceptions (email, private messaging, etc.) is PUBLIC. An internet forum is the modern day street corner. A person going to an internet forum to brag about sodomy is no different (and actually less private) than going onto a street corner and shouting it at the top of your lungs. There are no 'secret sins' here. She says that people are revealing Impy's sɛҳuąƖ secrets... no, Impy told the world about them.

And yes, classic shooting the messenger. Ironic, considering that if it weren't for people like the 'stalkers' who 'outed' Impy, FE would probably still have Laura.

Even if Vox does nothing, Impy's credibility has been destroyed by this revelation. I do not expect him to have much influence any more, even if he dares to post.

A forum's owner has tremendous influence on it's posters. As long as she defends Impy, the main crowd there won't see the big deal. Also, I thought you called him Clare?
