"A double minded man is inconstant in all his ways." - James 1:18 [Douay Rheims Version]

And for the fishies reading this thread:

"A double minded man is unstable in all her ways." - Jamie 1:18 [Queen James Version]

At least Catholic Answers Forum is Catholic enough to accept the natural law. Case and point: http://forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?t=789880

It's time to put this whole debacle to rest. The damage has been done. The majority of FE are now NO's and docile Ecclesia Dei types that go wherever the wind blows. Every Catholic with a conscience has left that smelly tank already. The fish are all swimming belly up and their reputation has been permanently damaged.

The one thing I've learned from this entire scandal is that the TLM alone won't save you, believing and living Catholic doctrine will. All the NO lay people I personally know are appalled by transgenderism and sodomy, even though their liturgy is totally gαy. I feel a lot more fraternity with NO's with a moral compass than practical New Pagans who think the traditional priests vestments are cute and gosh-darn-pretty. The problems in the Church aren't just external (e.g. not enough incense and Latin) but internal (e.g. doctrine, faith, etc.).

Traditionalists in name only (TINO?) who compromise (e.g. FSSP) are just as susceptible to apostasy as the Novus Ordo crowd. Without the unadulterated Faith the TLM becomes nothing more than a whited sepulcher, "which outwardly appear to men beautiful but within are full of dead men's bones and of all filthiness." - Matthew 23:27

My only reason for posting this is to reach out to Impy or Clare or Timothy, whichever name you go by in real life.  My sincere hope is that in spite of all that has transpired,  you don't stop posting here at FE.

Now this I can agree with.

Anyway I think that it would be a mistake for you to stop posting here just because of the actions of some jerk on another forum that doesn't even deserve to be called Catholic.

In an effort to be seen as not "judging" him, it's a real possibility that nothing will be done, even though his active and evil influence is crystal clear to anyone with eyes to see.

Even if Vox does nothing, Impy's credibility has been destroyed by this revelation.  I do not expect him to have much influence any more, even if he dares to post.

How's your credibility doing Jayne?

On the I am coming out thread you defended Impy and referred to him as "Clare" and used the term "she" when referring to him.

Also, what does she mean by "Vatican docuмents honored"? Is she suggesting that you can't criticize Vatican II's docuмents over there? Given her "no criticisms of the Holy Father" rule, I wouldn't doubt it.

She is referring to the "Vatican docuмent" that was apparently issued sub-secretum to select bishops that allows sex change in cases where the person's "inner turmoil" will be relieved. This was what Impy claimed justified his sex change and its "authority" is what made many people very unsure about how to handle the situation. How do you put up a fight in the face of a Vatican docuмent??

The story was full of holes but many people got caught up in this and their defenses were neutralized by it. It is the reason she claims she has never said or done anything against tradition, because she includes this docuмent in "tradition", as a Vatican docuмent, and believes that someday the Church will catch up with science and it won't have to be a secret docuмent anymore.

It's in the Coming Out thread.

Is this serious? Even the posters at CAF have the sanity to cite to real Vatican docuмents before beginning their arguments. Is this mod actually appealing to a "secret" Vatican docuмent nobody has seen and that she cannot cite to, in order to justify irreparable bodily mutilation to satisfy psychological disorder? I'm at a loss for words.

I don't understand why it is that Vox thinks that the sins that Impy has committed are just not a big deal, but those of us who take issue with it are committing the worst sin ever by being phariseacal (did I spell that right)?). How is it that her FSSP priest can condone such a thing? Heck, I attend a Novus Ordo, and the priest talks about sin all the time, and the need to go to confession. Even he, I would think, would be appalled by this. And yet to Vox it's not a problem in the least. Makes no sense. FE is a liberal trad forum, which seems a contradiction to me.

How do you know that a priest is really being consulted?  This person has previously shown to be misleading about other facts.

Use your common sense--would a FSSP really condone it?  No way.
