HarlequinKing is a young man with a sense of fashion, pretty arty, writer historian type, nothing wrong with that. We can't all be jocks or test-pilot types. He certainly does not dress in Victorian clothes most of the time. It is a hobby, an interest, not an all consuming passion.

I think we're in the minority in this regard. Most people who dislike Jayne seem to dislike her for being a "busybody" or a "mini-mod", as tmw would say. When Fisheaters had more members, most people who disliked her over there were women, and they disliked her because they perceived her as anti-feminist.

It's hard to find people who dislike her for being a crypto-Jew. But she is. If a Jew converts to the Church and rejects the teaching that Jews are enemies of the Church, then it is accurate to call that person a crypto-Jew.

More like the only Catholic forum; at least the only one in English that gets a fair amount of traffic. I think Catholics who lived from the founding of the Church to Vatican II would recognize the people on this forum as Catholic. I'm not so sure they would recognize the people on other "Catholic" forums as Catholic.
