Yeah, something's definitely overtaken Fisheaters. Something bad.

I left even before this entire Impy mess and am thankful that I steered clear of it. A lot of people were lead to tradition on FE, myself included. A lot of people met other trads. Some married and began raising children in a trad household, myself included.

Satan had to take a few shots and he ended up being successful. The amount of scandal pumping out of that site rivals CAF. It's nearly unbelievable.

In a way, it's worse. CAF has a beef with Trads because they don't believe the Pope can ever do any wrong, but they don't condone transɛҳuąƖism or ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity. They still want to follow the moral law.

I'm a former Fishie too. I don't want to cast stones, I have plenty of sins in my past that would embarrass me if they were revealed on an open forum. But Impy should have kept his sins to himself, and Vox should have locked the original "coming out" thread as soon as it was posted. Without all of that, Impy's sins would still be private(and between him and his confessor), and not out there for all of the world to see.

It's a real shame what has happened to that site.

Jayne, with all due respect, one poster here has said that. Just as Vox doesn't agree with everything posted on her site, the moderator here doesn't condone everything that is posted either. I sure don't agree with all of the posts here either, but at least this is still a traditional Catholic website. I think FE has jumped the shark.

There's quite a difference between public and private sin. I wonder how things would go over there if a porn star joined. Would that be acceptable for a Catholic forum if the porn star never discussed their work?

For that matter, there's a difference between a "venial sinner who makes frequent use of the sacraments" and an "unrepentant mortal sinner".

Considering that Impy is PRESENTLY seeking more men to break the sixth commandment with, he can't be making good confessions. It's not a question of judging a person's soul, it's a question of common sense and interpreting public actions.

Oh, and the salacious, filthy things he said on his "porn profile" -- if he confessed that, he'd have to take it down. He obviously hasn't.
