Apparently a copyrighted product of Capital One, that you can sign up for, for free, and use it to access your account or use your credit card at point-of-sale locations without having to enter your actual card number. Appears to be a step up above the "CHIP" technology that has you inserting your card and then walking away from the register forgetting to pull your card out. Which is a real bummer when you realize what happened after you're 20 miles away on the road.

Cap One does not come right out with the goods, explaining what this ENO is, how it works, what it does, and why we should trust it.
They make you do your own research.
My take-away from this is that we are entering a SOUND BITE WORLD, where it's becoming presumed that you only want to know what you can grab in 5 seconds and run away with it, having made up your mind mostly because of what someone else thinks.
