    • I finished my Ham Radio Exam Practice app! It's available on the Google Play store.

    I focused on user-friendliness so all ages could easily use it to study for the Ham Radio exams. And it's FREE!
    I'd like to get this app into the hands of future hams.

    I might add other English speaking countries to the list -- because the questions are all in English as well.

    Yeah, I'm sure that the various countries have different regulations and exams etc. ... though some of the more generic info about how to actually use/operate the equipment will likely be helpful.

    It is mostly to prep for the exame or does it also provide a tutorial of sorts, an intro into the entire area?

    Well, you can sample all the real question, and get instant feedback on whether you got it right/wrong. So you end up learning the answers to the questions at least.

    As for "hints" or mini tutorials on various topics, I was thinking of adding that as a feature later, if there is demand.

    • I have not looked into it, but it is my understanding that to get the HAM license I would forfeit some of my rights to the Feds.  Is that true?

    No.

    A Federal Firearms License ("FFL") allows the feds to inspect your home without a warrant whenever they choose.   I am aware of no similar forfeiture of rights for amateur radio licensees.

    Thanks, that is good to know.  My buddy might have been misinformed on the HAM radio license.
