Hey Viva Cristo Rey,

I'm so sorry to hear that your devise was hacked. I'm assuming you have Apple devices? Unfortunately, now that the apple devices are becoming increasingly more popular, they will be more exposed to hackers, especially the phones.

However, there are things you can do to make your devices more secure. First, make sure the built-in firewall and encryption are set up on the devices. If you contact Apple Tech, they should be able to help you with this.

You can also go to the AppStore where you'll find a number of downloadable, anti-virus software for your computer and phone.

Here is a link to some of the best rated anti-virus software for Mac in 2015: http://mac-antivirus-software-review.toptenreviews.com

If you download anti-virus software, it will detect the hack and block it before it infects your devices. If your devices are already infected and you download anti-virus software, a good anti-virus software will detect the virus, quarantine it, and remove it automatically or upon request.

I hope everything works out well for you and that the above was helpful. God bless and take care<3

*hugs*
MyrrhTree

Hey Viva Cristo Rey,

You're very welcome! Avira got really good ratings as a free anti-firus software for your PC computer and iPhone. http://www.avira.com/en/free-antivirus-ios

For now, free anti-virus software if better than none at all, but I and most would recommend purchasing some premium software just to be safer.

God bless,

I'm not all that familiar with Mac, but S4 is pretty old, iirc.

Older, (and especially unsupported,) operating systems are usually more susceptible to these types of things.

So making sure that you're using updated software is one step you can take to help safeguard against these things.

Yes. S4 is old.  I'm the last one to update.

The sad thing was that I has Macafee when I was hacked.
Went to Microsoft store.  They removed the infection and rescanned.
I bought office 365.  Used the key.  Not working right. Microsoft office used to come already on dell computer.  It was so much better with a disk instead of key without being online.

Office 365 requires Windows 7 or later. Where are you trying to input the key?

You don't even need a AntiVirus to be protected. Just don't click on strange links.

Also you may use free antivirus such as Avira.

If you use only Office and internet, go for Linux Mint.
