If it was as dangerous as some say it is, it should not be linked to without serious caveats and warnings, and anyone linking to it should be quick to help those that would have it be a stumbling block to them.

Would you link to a bunch of porn sites and say "hey look at all the error on these sites?"

I think some links warrant warnings.

"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

More like recall, and a few minutes. But nice attempt at making me out to be a creepy stalker. You tried that with Tele, too. Projection?

BTW, have you found any panties that fit? This store might have something in your size: https://www.makingitbig.com/

  • I'll respond more in-depth later on, because I'm about to go to Mass, but I will say:

When FE starts to get liberal, I surf on Ignis Ardens. When Ignis Ardens gets boring with the same topic thread after thread, I go back to FE.

If anyone is interested in criticizing a very involved Fish Eater member to her face, I am here.
    Ah, the hypocrite speaks......

Don't you and your master (Or is it the other way around) have a general rule about not becoming entangled on other  forums opinions or criticisms of FE?

    I know your works Jayne.

There is a rule on FE that we are not to dis other forums or complain about them.  I try to obey that rule.  When on CathInfo I obey its rules.
You don't do a good job obeying your own rules over there and neither do a lot of other posters, of course this is all reflective from the moderators that run the store there. Look, I'll be honest, it's a stupid rule, knocking other forums should be allowed if it is credible and deserved, any forum or website that flies the flag "traditional"  or even "catholic" and is anything but, should be outed publicly and without hesitation,  lest they decieve or corrupt those seeking to find actual traditionalism or orthodox Catholicism. I'm not saying that all of FE is a total farce , all the time and Vox's main page has some pretty good stuff, but you people have issues over there on a few things and critical thought on a few subjects is not even allowed or even tolerated and I'm not talking about things like promoting heresy or obscenity, that kind of stuff gets a free pass on a lot of threads.

And as long as you're over here challenging members to criticize FE to your face, my offer stands as well, seeing that you have a few "fishies" over in the tank who like to take cheap shots at banned forum members who can't fire back.

CI is a place where real Catholic men can stand on the grounds of their merits and  real Church doctrine without having to be muzzled or banished to the cornfield for telling the truth.

even allowed to post defamatory things about the traditional faith without any repercussion whatsoever.

You can always tell whose side someone's on by the sort of invective that upsets them.

Whether it's those in charge of FE or those in charge of the SSPX, you can see very clearly how angry they are at criticisms directed against the conciliarists, the jews and the feminists, and how easily they accept harsh invective and very harsh treatment of believing traditionalists.

It's betrayal, and they know it.

I'd like to thank Tele for making posts that are actually intelligible. E.g., ...

There is a missing element, which is present by inference due to context:

You can always tell whose side someone is on by the sort of invective that does
not upset them - e.g., how easily they accept harsh invective against, and
very harsh treatment of, believing traditionalists.

What you're saying does not apply to any one forum, but to all forums - even
forums that are not on the Internet. E.g., "the public forum."

I wouldn't disagree with many of the bans that have happened, and know little about all of them.  I'll certainly miss HR.  On CI people get banned because of the opinions they have, not because of how they express them.  Those are two completely different methods of management.  On the one hand, I think there is more of the vocal NO variety on FE because FE users are not allowed to insult and cast stones the same way that CI users are.  Matthew doesn't have to ban people who attend the NO, because in very large part most of the crew here seems to handle that themselves.  Of course, it's not just attending the NO around here that will get you banned.  On FE, you can more or less hold any opinion you want (usual caveats, etc, etc) and it is the expression of them that will get you banned.

One thing I know about FE, is that there isn't a whole lot of CI bashing over there.

ETA: and, of course, you have the thumbs down system here which is a nice way to make someone feel like they're in high school again.  People will be far more hesitant to post if they know they're going to get a flurry of passive-aggressive internet stares.  You guys do a good job of keeping this place exclusive.  And I don't mean that snidely, but neutrally.  For better or worse.

I agree and don't engage in the stupid thing myself, I think one's posts will stand or fall  on it's merits without some idiots approval or disapproval, if I don't agree with some comments I offer a rebuttal or just ignore it and move on, this is not a popularity contest like you have over there at FE.

Which BTW used to employ the same "ratings" system on posters and posts with the smelly fish thing or whatever it was, it turned out to be nothing more than a silly contest on who could be the "it" girl over there. I used to actually believe that the more stink fish you got over there the better poster you were

At least you have a good sense of humor about it.

I know it's hard, but some of you younger guys have to realize that what you put out there on the Net could come back at you someday.

This is actually a serious issue these days for many seeking employment or going into politics, they bring up stuff from years ago all the time.
