Torba has made stupid moves before. For example, he decided that he wasn't making enough money, so he instituted a policy that only GabPro payers could post images. I left and many others left. I would not be surprised if he lost a majority of Gab's user base.
Gab has made it harder to open an account using an anonymous email address.
Then he did this VPN block.
Gabbers are well aware of the risk of being doxxed for "antisemitism," etc., so I expect that there was some blowback.
Moments ago I tried to log-in and received the same VPN blocked message. I use only VPN services that are credibly "non-logging," so that traffic analysis cannot be done.
Since WhiteWorkinClassScapegoat was able to log-in obviously Gab has only been able to recognize and block certain VPN services, but not others.
WhiteWorkinClassScapegoat, are you using a static IP VPN? That may be a work-around, but I avoid using a static VPN.
These serial moves all pierce anonymity, so of course raise the question of whether or not Gab has been a "honeypot" from the very start.
There is no shortage of speculation that "antisemitic" 4CHan was an Israeli honeypot meant to race bait and give credence to the incessant "antisemitism" whining.
