To ban or not to ban someone is up to Matthew
Just a reminder, if there is someone on CI that one would like to ignore (not mentioning any names) ;)

I can't find a thread about it, but thank you for pointing out the feature exists. I found it.

Ooops, thank you, Marion, for the correction

Ok, I tried it, but it still shows all of Nishant's threads, though it does not show what he wrote. I already do not read anything he writes, so it is no big advantage for me to put him on the ignore.

Ignoring him will not change the fact that the tactics being used are altering not only the overall pleasure and usefulness of CI for present and longtime members, it is changing what newbies will see when searching or visiting the site for the first time.

I appreciate that your heart is in the right place, but STOP.
I took care of this yesterday.
1. Most of the threads you speak of have been "hollowed out" i.e., the actual content posted by Nishant has been removed from the Original Post, leaving just the conversation that followed. In some cases, it's quite a long, rich conversation. NO I'm not going to delete them, EVER, because each has a great conversation going on with a lot of good information -- the Traditional Catholic reaction to something Conciliar. I don't care if that means that, for a while, the Crisis subforum will have a lot of threads started by Nishant.
So please stop complaining about these threads from before December 9th, 2021.
2. Starting threads on a forum actually helps the forum (and by extension, the forum owner). It's called creating ACTIVITY and CONTENT. As I said, I dealt with this yesterday. No more unapproved apparitions, no more spam, no more conciliar devotions or other nonsense.
3. There is nothing stopping YOU and other good Trads from starting a thread or two per day to DILUTE HIS POSTS. I can't help that Nishant is more fervent with his Conciliar/Indult leanings than many of you are with your solid Trad background. It's a shame, really! I'd like to see more posts by the other members. But beggars can't be choosers -- I don't pay people to post here.

The ignore feature does not work. If you want to ignore, it's going to take a lot of willpower.
