  • I found some old tapes of retreat conferences and church crisis conferences, is there some archive I should upload them to, or does anyone want these as MP3s for their media channels? Some tapes are missing, but are probably around here somewhere.

  • Get them onto some kind of storage medium as soon as you can.  While no storage lasts forever, magnetic tape can degrade to the point of uselessness.  I'm starting to see this with tapes from my huge VHS collection, some are barely watchable.

An Analog-to-Digital Converter is fairly inexpensive, estimate $30-$100.

The rub is that you'll probably have to play the tapes "in real time," so that it will take a long time to convert them all to digital format.

I did this with old Hi-8 video tapes of the family.  It took weeks to complete, but they are now safe and archived.

  • I have digitized from cassette to MP3 a lot of stuff and uploaded it to my bitchute channel.  A trad catholic from northern Indiana gave me hundreds of tapes, but it is a bit overwhelming.  There was some rare stuff in there.  I am still looking for two misplaced tapes by the famous Catholic/communist convert, Hamish Fraser.

Here is a bunch of audio that I have uploaded, but more is to come.
