I've not watched the whole video. I live on a farm and our internet is DSL delivered over ageing rural phone lines, watching video clips and big downloads are usually problematic. If I really need to watch or download something I usually have to copy the URL and wait until I go to town to the library. Regardless of that, I'll always prefer written docuмentation. I'm sorry, at nearly age 72 I'm just traditional that way.
Still, the “billboard” of the video (for lack of a better phrase) says “Sorry, we’re CLOSED”, which would give most people the impression that “nobody” gets to travel to the Antarctic (except the “approved”), which is simple NOT true, and if something isn’t true it’s usually a LIE (and all lies come from Satan). Both AMDGJMJ and myself have posted links to ways the common folk can visit Antarctica, it really not a big deal if on had the money. I personally know a physician from northern Idaho whose been there … he was hoping to do a duty tour (I think it would have been 6 months duration) as part of the medical staff at one of the two U.S. research stations in Antarctica. Evidently this is a very popular thing for doctors to do early in their retirement, there are always a lot of applicants, and he wasn’t chosen. He did get the visit as part of the process.
I don’t understand this fetish “Flat Earth’ers” have about the Antarctic. If one takes the globe (the world, as most understand it) and “smash it down” to a flat plane, the North Pole is still “at the top”, the South Pole is still “at the bottom”, and the other continents lay out on a “left to right” alignment (or “west to east”, as most people look at it). Where did this opinion that the Antarctic “circles the flat plane” come from? Can anyone cite scripture (?), the Church Fathers (?), a decree from the magisterium (?) … or … any credible research, any irrefutable observation? IF NOT, any thinking person will assume that the continent of Antarctica is exactly where everyone has always thought it was (the South Pole, or below Argentina and Chile, the Falkland Islands, and Oceania).
So now, Antarctica seems irrelevant (unless someone will answer the questions posed). In the quest to prove the Flat Earth the Antarctic Treaty DOES NOT apply, one does NOT NEED to go to Antarctica, one does NOT Need anybody’s permission. These “objections” are NOT anybody’s excuse. It’s REALLY simple: Charter an airplane, follow an absolutely linear flight path … either arrive at the “terminus / edge / end / firmament” of the flat earth or circuмnavigate the globe earth.
I see. Well I'll post some pics and short videos for you and a longer one for others.
As for written material, the video was quoting the restrictions listed in the treaty so you might want to read that for yourself.
With regards to the magisterium etc., Tradman and Lad have shown that the Church Fathers were unanimous about the existence of a Firmament. One theory regarding the lack of access to explore Antarctica is that the dome of the Firmament is there. Interestingly, there are several locations in Antarctica called "Dome".
All the fiercely warring countries of the world have kept a treaty that limits travel below the 60th Parallel South. Why??? That's something we should question...

This shows how limited the access to Antarctica is on one of those cruises and how that area jets out from the ice wall on the map from the 1800's.

This short video explains how Antarctica is not just about Flat Earth but something everyone should question plus shows how the treaty limits travel there:

And this video is good on the subject including reference to Captain Cook's expedition which was 60,000 miles long and he couldn't complete it. Antarctica is only 12,000 miles in circuмference.

Neither did James Clark Ross or the British ship Challanger complete the journey. Nobody has successfully circuмnavigated it.
