An alternative is to install Brave. Otherwise, alternative websites are being banned by Firefox Mozilla.

I would like to do this, but I am not computer savvy.
This is what I see at the bottom of my screen. I want to reject Firefox.
Thanks for choosing Firefox and supporting an independent web. You're awesome! Here's what you can do next (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/etc/firefox/retention/thank-you-a/?utm_source=desktop-snippet&utm_medium=snippet&utm_campaign=ReferralTY-Q42018&utm_term=9583utm_content=REL_ESR&sample_rate=0.001&snippet_name=9583).

Waterfox might be a better bet over Brave. (https://www.reddit.com/r/waterfox/comments/8f4es0/privacy_waterfox_vs_brave/) It's what I use. I'm not a computer whiz, so who knows. Probably the safest thing is to not be hooked to the grid at all.

Subject: Firefox Mozilla joins Google in blocking sites
Mozilla joining the manifestly evil Google would be a matter of great concern & disappointment to me, but your posting provides no evidence whatsoever for the claim made by your ‘Subject:’.

What "my screen"? When doing what?
The page at the link you provided does not even mention Google. Please don't make important & distressing claims in Internet discussion forums for which you fail to provide obvious evidence. It's your claim, so it's your responsibility to provide such evidence. It's not the responsibility of your readers to load multiple Web pages (i.e., as linked from the 1 page to which you did link) to track down--or guess--whatever could possibly have motivated you to make your thus-far unsupported claim.

It wouldn't shock me if Firefox did such a thing, so I didn't bother to verify.
The co-founder of Mozilla, Brendan Eich, resigned some years back because the board was incensed with his support of anti-fag legislation. He's now the developer of the Brave browser.

Where is the proof for this?
The link provided shows nothing about what Maria Regina is talking about.

:applause:I have a tablet and a pay as I go hotspot. When not in use, it's turned off as in shut down. That's it. No on-line phone. Laugh away, but I have a jitterbug flip phone. It serves me just fine. No Internet appliances, etc. I don't use social media, never have. It makes me almost nonexistent!

I use PaleMoon browser. It's not bad. Opera is good, too. I'll look into Waterfox and Brave.
I quit FireFox because of their globalist surveillance & censorship agenda.

To disable FireFox's built-in censorship, uncheck "Block dangerous and deceptive content (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-does-phishing-and-malware-protection-work?as=u&utm_source=inproduct)".
uMatrix (https://github.com/gorhill/uMatrix) and/or uBlock Origin (https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock) are good, too.

Dear Alligator,
By the way: See you later Alligator. In a while, Crocodile. Not too soon you big baboon.
My father loved that song.
.
I got the blue screen or equivalent just after reading about Firefox after I got blocked from some conservative sites.
It disturbed me because Firefox erroneously claimed that I might get a wicked virus if I clicked those sites.
With that blue screen, I had to shut down the computer immediately, and then could not find the link to the article.
I tried to do an Internet search, but could not come up with the article.
Finally, when I did another search just now, I found it.
.
It is on WWW.SOROS.NEWS (a site sure to embarrass George Soros)

Nobody uses Mozilla anymore; it's just their way to get some publicity.

Thank you. Firefox seems to be imitating Google. I tire of it.
