This doesn't seem to be a short hiccup, or even a "short" 1 hour outage. It's been going on for 3.25 hours and counting.

And despite all the articles saying "many users", "some places", "some users" -- can ANYONE get to FB, Instagram, or Whatsapp?

It looks to me like those sites are DOWN. Period. (For now I mean -- not suggesting it's permanent). But I am suggesting the outages are QUITE universal.

Last I heard, they were blaming it on one guy making a change to their gateway.  There's no way in such a big IT organization that that could happen.  They have processes and change controls, and everything must be tested first in a production-like environment, etc.  So I'm not buying the official story they're spinning.
