Not saying those are good things to watch or defending AI... But you do know it's largely depending on what WE are using it to make, right?

For example, people are already making full series of anime.

And even full drama.


(FYI I didn't watch those so Idk if it has PG/indecent content, I just quickly looked at the quality of videos themselves.)

If anybody wants to really get into it, you can make say a whole 2-hr series of, say St Joan of Arc, with decent (learned/stolen) aesthetics that will cost way less effort and money compared to a company production. You do need some basic background in animation, video editing, script writing etc. But there's a big potential to make something that's at least morally acceptable for Catholics to watch, instead of begging Hollywood's mercy for making something not filled with propaganda. Just saying.

Matthew you yourself run a few AI projects, the transcriber bot and the traditional Catholic teaching bot and maybe some other I'm not aware of?

AI is also excellent for translation, for learning about things or queries about day to day things.

Regarding videos, yeah they're mostly uncanny, some people do make good things, check out this guy, I think he's a transhumanist nietszchean or something which is bad but AI video wise he's one of the best I've seen it shows the good case scenario (someone with taste can make something that looks good without needing hollywood)
