    • Does anyone here know about how to do CPA marketing? I know some people who made 2k in one week off of it. I also saw a channel get 9k subs in 4 days just by reuploading some stupid minecraft animation telling people to like and sub to save a minecraft diamond from falling into lava.

    If it sounds too good to be true, it EITHER is too good to be true, OR it won't last long.

    My advice: get a real job. Something that everyone needs done. Something YOU YOURSELF would pay for. If you would love to be on the receiving end (of a cushy job), but wouldn't want to be the boss writing the checks -- probably should avoid that job. The gravy train won't run forever, in my experience.

    I don't believe that any cushy job, as you describe, is really "there for the taking" for anyone who comes along.

    I've heard this before: the Gold Rush of the 19th century, Real Estate never goes down right before the bubble burst in 2009, the Dot-Com bubble which burst in 2000 -- the list goes on.

    For every young man who successfully joins the NBA, there are hundreds of thousands left out in the cold. For every man who makes it big in Multi-Level-Marketing, there are millions (about 99.9%) who either LOSE money, make nothing, or make less than $5,000 a year. I'm sure the same is true of Youtube "influencers" and vloggers.

    When someone convinces you that something is a "literal money printer", be skeptical. Be very skeptical.

    Don't do it man, sounds like an MLM.

    If you're having trouble finding pureblood jobs LMK. Small businesses might train you in a life skill that will be useful and be willing to help you out. There's an oversaturation with online "content" and we're going to see a crash in the next few years because no one has extra money to send streamers etc. People need food, water, shelter. Any kind of family or small businesses covering one of those needs is going to set you up well.

    Dude, who peed in your wheeties yesterday? So many negative posts lol... Cryptinox is genuinely looking for advice here, and you have to remember he is very young. I would not be surprised if he hasn't held a job yet as most places only hire 18+. He is trying to figure out his way in the world. I don't think YouTube is the right answer either, but there's no need to tear him down imo...

    Matthew gives some good advice in this thread for you. Additionally, if you don't have decent work available to you, you should consider using this time to develop other skills that will be useful later. My little brother used his teenage years to learn a lot about cars and mechanic work. He isn't necessarily going to work on cars by trade now that he is old enough, but did use that experience on his resume to apply to his first job (which he got, which is a very nice job for an 18 y/o).

    Additionally, he now works on cars as a hobby which helps him to save money. Unlike me, he can fix a lot of what breaks on his car himself. He bought a very cheap used car and will fix it if it breaks. I bought a much more expensive "certified pre-owned" car, and paid dearly for something very reliable, so that I wouldn't have to fix it. His route was easily 33k cheaper than mine, unless something goes catastrophically wrong with his car. If it does, he can bite the bullet and buy another beater. 

    Another skill you could try to learn would be basic carpentry or just round-the-house repairs. Dishwasher needs a part replaced? It's probably not as hard as you would think. Installing a new sink? Good skill to have for if you get married and your wife suddenly hates the sink that came with your new place :laugh1:

    There are a lot of things my husband and I are just now learning how to do that would have been easy to learn when we were younger. Try to soak up as much knowledge from your parents as you can (if applicable, otherwise use the internet to learn). My dad knows how to grill and do minor repairs on cars and house stuff. I would know too, if I had pestered him to show me!

    Trust me, I definitely have a job. I have had one since freshman year of highschool cause the owner of a pizza place just asked if I wanted a job. Did not even have to apply. I'd look at CPA marketing as more of a side thing or an investment as it is akin to ad revenue.

    In that case, I would tend to agree with Matthew's assessment here. It is likely either short lived or too good to be true. You could always try it, but probably there are better things you could use your time for that will last into your future. Either way, best of luck!
