I downloaded these two browsers today so I can get rid of Microsoft Edge and Chrome. I deleted Firefox yesterday. So far Brave is working well. (it's pretty fast) I am having a little trouble with the GAB browser Dissenter, but it just might be my computer. I'll wait the day to uninstall the google stuff just to be sure.

Good luck, Josefa. You might also consider the Opera browser. I have been using it in various forms for more than ten years, and I enthusiastically recommend it. At any given time the browser is available in three degrees of development, all of which are clearly explained and downloadable here. Privacy and security have been its developers' concerns from the start, and with the addition of a few of the many available extensions, worries about worms, adware, malware, and Google-type spying will become a thing of the past.

Opera also has a private-window mode that is almost as secure as Tor and easier to work in. I have been using it for years to pay utility and credit-card bills with never a problem.
